Meet the Executive Board
The AOTR Executive Board is comprised of experience trauma data professionals elected by their peers across the State of Ohio. The Executive Board provides leadership in strategic goals, data continuity, research, special collaborative projects, professional development, and education to trauma data professionals.

Maria has 30 years of clinical and non-clinical trauma system experience working with adult and pediatric Level 1 facilities and an adult Level 3 facility. She is a certified paramedic in the state of Ohio, is a certified specialist in trauma registries (CSTR) as well as a certified abbreviated injury scoring specialist (CAISS). She currently is a Trauma Data Coordinator at Nationwide Children's Hospital an ACS verified level 1 trauma and ABA certified burn pediatric center in Columbus, Ohio. Maria has served previously in AOTR leadership roles as vice president, treasurer and education committee chair. She is a co-author and editor for the OTRC (Ohio Trauma Registrars Course), a co- author of the AOTR’s abstract “Setting a Course for Ohio Trauma Registrars” submitted to TQIP in 2016. She is also a current member of the TCAA (Trauma Centers Association of America) education committee. She resides in Heath Ohio with her husband Jeff and their fur baby Leo. She and her husband have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Terrie Weir has served as a Trauma Registrar since 1994, becoming the first Trauma Registrar at Akron City Hospital, now Summa Health System, and playing a key role in helping the hospital achieve its designation as Akron's first Level 1 Trauma Center. She is an original member of AOTR and is actively involved in professional organizations including American Trauma Society (ATS), NTDB/TQIP, Northern Ohio Trauma System (NOTS), and formerly served as registrar chair of the Northeast Ohio Regional Trauma Network (NORTN).
Terrie studied at the University of Akron and Indiana Wesleyan University, earning her associate degree. Beyond her professional career, she is deeply engaged in community service. She is Board President of Inner City Hope Clothing Ministry, Development and Sponsorship Director of Before the Crowning Student Transition Organization, and Director of Finance at her church.
Terrie treasures time with her three granddaughters and dedicates herself to volunteering with seniors, continuing her lifelong commitment of service, leadership and community impact.

Meghan Kenney, CAISS, CCA - Treasurer
Meghan Kenney’s career spans more than a decade in healthcare, including roles in long-term care and hospital settings. She began her career in trauma registry in 2022 at Western Reserve Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center in Cuyahoga Falls, where she continues to work as a Trauma Registrar. Meghan is a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) and Certified Abbreviated Injury Scoring Specialist (CAISS), with an associate degree in Health Administration/Medical Records. As part of a collaborative effort, she co-authored “Ohio, The Heart of It All: How Ohio Collaborates to Standardize Trauma Registry Education and Develop Data Consistency to Foster High-Quality Trauma Registrars Across the State”, an abstract selected for poster presentation at the 2025 TQIP Conference, where it earned second place.
Meghan has been married for three years and is a proud mother to her daughter. She enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Jenna Spring has dedicated her career to serving patients and advancing medical record integrity across multiple settings. She began her journey as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), later expanding her expertise as a Medical Assistant before moving into the specialized field of health information. Her strong background led her to inpatient and outpatient coding, and ultimately to her current role as a Trauma Registrar Coordinator at a Level I Trauma Center, where she has served for the past three and a half years.
In 2024, Jenna earned her Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) credential, further solidifying her expertise in trauma data management and reporting. She is actively working toward her Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certifications, building upon her Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology and Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration.
Outside of her professional life, Jenna is a devoted wife of 16 years and a proud mother of four. Much of her free time is spent with her family and their energetic dog, who keeps her just as busy as her work in healthcare.

My name is Victoria Kreckman, I prefer to go by Tory. I have worked in nursing homes and hospitals for almost 18 years, with the last 5 years as a trauma registrar for a Level III Trauma Center. I received my CSTR in 2021 and my CAISS in 2022. I enjoy learning about the trauma registry world as it is always changing. I am currently in college working towards my RHIT and associate degree in Health Information Management. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy running with or without one of my 4 dogs, and spending time with family. I look forward to serving AOTR.

Pamela Tanner has worked at Grant Medical Center as a Data Specialist and then lead Trauma Data Analyst for 17 years. Pamela has actively participated in 5 level 1 reverifications with Grant.
Pamela has a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is RHIT, CSTR, and CAISS certified. Pamela has also sat on the education committee with the AOTR for the past several years.
On a personal note, Pamela has three grown children and three grandchildren whom she enjoys spending time with. Pamela also enjoys traveling and reading.
